Kaiju Breakers: Paradise Lost: Mech Tactical TTRPG

Future earth has become a dark place for the planet's billions. The Lazada, an alien race, has waged war with mankind, fighting for the earth's natural resources, as their own planet continues to wane. They aren't an advanced race, but with the ability to grow  Kaiju by planting embryos in the water systems they are currently winning. This begins to change the earth’s physiology to that of the Lazada’s home planet: Pools of water form in cracks on every continent, which Kaiju come through. Earth's population is dwindling because of these rampart behemoths.

The United Federation of Nations has invested trillions of dollars into a new defense system: Breakers. This revolutionary mech can fight against the Lazada. The pilots at the helm have been chosen from millions of candidates. Injected and infused with Lazada DNA as part of the program, they possess abilities that help them compete with the invaders.

The most taxing of these abilities is warp jumping. This takes a toll on their bodies, but they endure to win the war!

Why itch.io funding?

It's like Kickstarter, but a lot easy, manageable, and more convenient. Since I won't be running a Kickstarter, you can support my Itchfunding campaign. The game in its current form is complete. The money will be used to hire the best artists to improve the game's look. Players who buy the game at $15 will receive Kaiju Breakers Deluxe Edition PDF. Players who purchase at $25 will receive both a PDF copy and a printed version mailed to them.

STRETCH GOALS

$8, 000 - Kaiju Breakers Deluxe Edition. New art. 

$15, 000 - If I get this much in funding I will be able to kickstart expansion books in the Kaiju Breakers universe with beautiful layouts and great art. I plan to launch Kaiju Hunters, Kaiju Space Destroyers, and Kaiju Tower Defense. Kaiju Hunters will have pilots out of mechs, fending off baby Kaiju, and helping to evacuate locations. Kaiju Space Destroyers will have battling Kaiju in outer space, and Kaiju Tower Defense will have players building traps to fight against waves of Kaiju. 

$25, 000 - If I get this much funding I will be able to have a game box version of Kaiju Breakers which comes with new art, the core rule book, special dice and miniatures, poster-sized physical maps that are bigger than in the PDF versions and more.
